Heaters & chillers
Pool heaters and chillers in Jeddah
Jeddah pools can feel cool on winter evenings and uncomfortably warm in August. A properly sized heat pump or chiller keeps the water at a pleasant temperature all year, and we install, repair and service both.
Comfortable water in every season
From December to February, night-time temperatures in Jeddah drop enough that unheated pools feel cold, especially for children. In summer the opposite happens: shallow and rooftop pools can heat well above 32°C, which feels unrefreshing and uses up chlorine quickly.
Reversible heat pumps can both heat and cool, making them a popular choice in Jeddah. We help you choose the right size and type for your pool, then install and maintain it.

Heat pumps
Why heat pumps suit Jeddah
A heat pump moves heat from the air into the water rather than generating it, so it uses much less electricity than a simple electric heater. Jeddah's warm air means heat pumps work efficiently for most of the year.
Reversible models can switch to cooling mode in summer, bringing an overheated pool back down to a refreshing temperature. A pool cover dramatically improves results in both modes by reducing heat loss and gain.

Repairs
Heater and chiller faults we fix
Common problems include:
- 1Low-flow errors from a dirty filter or a closed bypass valve.
- 2Not heating due to dirty fins or failed fans.
- 3Corroded heat exchanger from low pH water.
- 4Pressure or sensor faults on the control panel.
- 5Tripping breakers from wiring or capacitor faults.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a pool heater in Jeddah?
Many families find an unheated pool too cold to use comfortably from December to February, especially in the evening. A heater extends the swimming season to the whole year.
Can a heat pump cool my pool in summer?
Yes, if it is a reversible model. It can lower the water temperature when rooftop or shallow pools get too warm.
Which is cheaper to run, a heat pump or an electric heater?
A heat pump is generally far cheaper to run because it moves heat rather than generating it. Electric heaters suit small spas or occasional use.
Why does my heater show a flow error?
Usually because the filter is dirty, a valve is closed or the pump is not running at the right speed. We check the whole circulation system.
How often should a heat pump be serviced?
We recommend a check before winter and before summer, including cleaning the fins and checking flow and electrical connections.
Do you install heaters in existing pools?
Yes. We retrofit heat pumps and heaters to existing pools, often in a single day.
